Mark was born to Joseph and Eva Moszer on August 12, 1953 in Portland, OR. The family moved to Tierra Del Mar in 1955, then Tillamook in 1963, where Mark attended school and graduated from Tillamook High in 1971.
Mark remained in Tillamook while he raised his children and worked for Coast Tire Shop for more than 20 years, until a new career with Farwest Tire moved him to Washington. A transfer to Coos Bay brought him back to Oregon and in 2015, Mark retired from May Trucking Company in Keizer.
Mark loved the coast, skiing with his kids, the heat of Warm Springs, a cold beer, a good debate, and the Packers. Family and friends were important to him, and he treasured his Bassets, Angel and Uma. Mark was a hard working, dedicated father and very proud of his six grandchildren, ages 2-21. Our Dad and Grampa will be greatly missed.
Mark is survived by his two children, Shawn Moszer-Stark and Bryan Moszer, and siblings Carol Watt and Tom and Mike Moszer. He died peacefully at his son’s home in Texas after a short battle with cancer at the age of 62. A private family service will be held at a later date.
